The Friends of the Johnson Branch Library is a 5001(c)(3) non-profit, all-volunteer organization. We believe that a library is more than just a building full of books—it is the living heart of our neighborhood.
While public funding covers the library’s basic structural needs, the "Friends" step in to fund the extra magic. From funding the Children’s Summer Reading programs to purchasing new technology for our makerspace, our mission is to ensure that the Johnson Branch remains a dynamic, resource-rich environment for everyone.
